Terrorism and How India Deals With It.
Enough is enough. We had too much of it. Terror and terrorist activities. Political Rhetoric.We will do this.We will do that. Finally we did nothing. City after City becomes victim of Terrorists. We fall an easy prey to the Terrorists,thanks to the inaction of our Government.
Lets delete from our dictionaries the prefixes like “Hindu” and “Muslim” Terrorists. Irrespective of the caste or religion to which he belongs,a Terrorist is a Terrorist. And he has to be accordingly dealt with. With an Iron Hand and a Resolve that we will wipe out Terror from our land.
Lets create an independent investigative agency with the Authority of a Constitutional Functionary like the Supreme Court or the Comptroller and Auditor General Of India. It reports directly to the Prime Minister. And he should take whatever appropriate action that is required without hesitation,fear or favour as per the Oath Of Office he swears before signing as the Prime Minister of this Country. Politics should never be allowed to creep into it,when the lives of Citizens is at Stake. Vote Bank or no Vote Bank,investigations must be carried out and necessary,timely action taken in utmost secrecy and speed.
Lets get our Act together.Lets stop conducting post mortems and mud slinging exercises. These are futile and counter productive.
The Citizens of India want stern steps to combat terrorism and save further Bomb Blasts.
Lets tell the World at Large and the Terrorists Outfits,wherever they are that now we mean business. Let them Beware of India.

REVIVE.
Reunion Of Vizag Veterans.
It was an idea developed by my close friend and long time colleague in Indian Oil, for over 35 years.
He is none other than Sri R V Rao. Senior Manager (Sales) Retd.
When he retired in 1995, from Southern Regional Office in Chennai, little did we imagine that he would come up with a concept of reuniting old friends in such a novel and delightful manner.
The idea struck a deep chord of yearning in all those who long for meeting old friends. Very soon the idea mooted by Sri R V Rao found universal acceptance amongst like minded friends and it was decided to give the idea a try.
The concept was that every year all those friends who started their careers in Vizag Divisional Office area, during the Sixties, or worked in the Vizag D O area,in the formative years of Indian Oil, would meet for two days in a pre-determined place and just spend time as they like it. The programme is to meet, relax, spend time As You Like It. For two days. Talk, play cards, crack jokes and enjoy the leisure in all its glory.
The first REVIVE Meet was held at Vijayawada.
It was a runaway Success. And every year after that we have been meeting at various places,Beach Resorts,Hill Stations,Pligrim Centres and what have you.
Every participant reaches the appointed place on his own T A / D A and also contributes equally for the 2 days of enjoyment. No obligation,whatsoever. Only full satisfaction. Then we all disperse to meet next year for yet another REVIVE Meet.
Every one eagerly and anxiously looks forward for the next REVIVE. Its so enjoyable. And every REVIVE Meet has not less than 15 members minimum participating enthusiastically. More and more people join,every year. That’s the Spirit of REVIVE.

Re-Inventing Secularism
Re-Inventing Secularism.
The Andhra Pradesh Govt.has issued an Order forming the Andhra Pradesh Christian Finance Corporation. This is to meet the needs of the Christians of A P to come up economically.
Also the A P Govt. will take the First Batch of Christians on a Pilgrimage Of the Holy Places in Israel some time in the end of November .
This is the Congress Govt.’s most Secular Act since it re-invented the concept of Secularism.
Christian Community in general was never called a backward community or lacking in economic well being. The Christians wherever they are, are a well placed, self-reliant and resourceful people.They find employment and lead Dignified Lives without looking for Alms. At least a vast majority of Christians. The small number of unfortunates are well taken care of by the affluent majority Christians since the community, as such, is known for its well knit links. They are a self esteem loving, proud, class of people.
Such a community is being taught, now, by the Congress to live on alms, Govt.Financing and Subsidies. Thanks to the re-invention of the Secularism Concept.
One wonders,which will be the next Community that will be taken up before the 2009 Elections for help and upliftment.
We,the Citizens of this Great Sovereign Democratic Republic Of India need to do some introspection as to, to what extent we can distribute the Government Funds for such worthy Causes.

Do We need the B J P ?
We need the BJP and all its eccentric outfits,the RSS,the VHP and the Bajrang Dal,to preserve,protect and sustain our values. No other Religion or community in this world practices the useless Secularism being thrust on us by the Congress Govt.
We keep pampering the Muslims and expect them to appreciate our brand of Secularism.Which they will never do. Its always a one way traffic for them. Like the saying, “what will you bring when you come to our house, and what will you give us when we come to your house.”
For these spineless Congresswalas the Muslims are their committed Vote Bank.
And Muslims know very well how to use the Congress.
BJP is to-day,the most intelligent political party with learned and balanced people with experience and knowledge.They talk sense.They don’t pamper the Muslims.
The RSS is the most disciplined Political outfit and their commitment to their Principles is something exemplary. Yes,the VHP and Bajrang Dal are at times belligerent but you need that much of belligerency to survive. Otherwise you will be wiped out.
Christians did do a great service to our country with their Hospitals and Schools. No doubt on that. But that doesn’t give them a licence to convert poor and ignorant Tribals and the outcastes of the Hindu Caste System the Mala Maadigas so very blatantly. In fact the way they exploit these ignorant and poor people in Rural areas is very inhuman and heart rending. They keep a sword on their Necks and convert them throwing the baits of money and Milk Powder and Wheat Flour sent by the U S.
We Brahamins must also accept responsibility for casting away these sections of our Hindu society. With our orthodoxy and super ego we insulted them and ill treated them for centuries. Even today,though Brahamins have become more liberal,Kammas and Reddys of A P, Thakurs of Bihar and UP do not accept the lower castes. They still ill treat them and insult them,and commit atrocities on them. Then,why blame Christian Missionaries for converting these down trodden,unwanted cast aways of our System ?
Our house is not in order. Mana rupayey manchidi kaadu !
This is where the Arya Samaj,the VHP and RSS are playing a major Role to redress these pitfalls of our system. May be at times they are extreme in their dealings. So what ? Which system is Perfect ?
I have made my choice. I am with BJP come what may.All the Best.Parsa.

Titrumala Titrupati Devasthanam is Marketing Lord Venkateswara in a very Big Way.They have advertised all over the place with huge hoardings and advertisements the Kalyanotsavam performed at Secunderabad on June the 28th 2008,at the Parade Grounds like a Mega Event of some Film Function. Priests and Idols were transported from Tirumala by TTD and a local Big shot financed the Mega Event.More than an estimated Lakh of people gathered to hear devotional songs Of Annamacharya sung by devoted exponents like Shobha Raj and others,and later witnessed the Kalyanotsavam performed on a huge decorated Stage.
This Localised Kalyanotsavams were already performed in 50 cities as per the TTD’s Advertisement.They will perhaps cover ever so many more Cities,in future.This, it seems is taking God to your City.Later in about a month’s time or so TTD’s own TV Channel is about to start.And then,Lo ! God will come into your Drawing Room ! All rituals, functions and festivals at Tirumala can be seen sitting in our Sofas in our sweet homes.
Is this what Hinduism stands for ? Are we aping Christian Missionaries who indulge in such Marketing Activities ? Let the Religious Minded Intellengtsia think for a while.
Our Concept of God according to our Religion and Faith is a purely personal matter,connected with the Spirit and Mind. We are now diluting it down, very cheaply, thinking that we are doing a Great Favour to our Religion and saving our “Culture”.
Instead of spending Crores of rupees in Transporting the Sacred Idols and the Temple Priests to various Cities,and performing these Localised Kalyanotsavams all over the country,TTD can very well construct a State-Of-Art Kalyana Mandapam in true Temple Architecture in front of the Maha Dwaram of Tirumala Temple where once the Thousand Pillar Mandapam stood.The ancient Mandapam was pulled down inspite of Protests from all Quarters and now a Huge Open Space stares at you in the face, like a deserted Foot Ball Field.This vacant space can very well be utilized for building a huge Kalyana Mandapam to seat about 30,000 people in well designed Galleries.People who cannot pay the highly priced Utsavams can sit in the Galleries and watch the religious rituals in all its Sanctity.People who can afford to pay can sit in the Main Hall.

Small & Marginal Farmers , Who are They ?
It is very interesting to find out how the Government classifies small & marginal farmers.
You will find many a wealthy Landlord in these classified Lists to avail electricity bill waiverls and bank loan waierls.The corrupt Revenue Official in any Taluqa Office will give any certificate of Holding you require to get a bank loan after receiving his payment under the table.Banks will give loans after they receive their under the table payments.
When the Govt.orders waivers it is the wealthy farmers who scoop up the benefit and not the poor suicide prone real small time farmer.
If you want to weed out unsocial elements and cheaters from the genuine farmers list,you need an International Agency like the Food and Agricultural Organisation of the U N.
No Indian Agency can be trusted for the simple reason,that any Indian Agency,whether non-governmental or governmental is deeply entrenched in corruption and deceit.
A few years ago ,before the Banks liberalised vehicle loans,rural and urban citizens of this Mahan Country raised crop loans on false documents and bought two wheelers,like Bajaj Chetaks.
Just an example to illustrate my point on how honest or sincere an average Indian Citizen is.

chidambaram's election budget
Chidambaram.Harvard returned.Drawing room Economist.India's present Finance Minister.Presents his 5th and perhaps last budget full of Election Manifesto Promises and Doles for Aam Aadmi to woo him to vote for Congress in 2009.
Whose Grand Father's money is Chidambaram distributing,anyway ? Not his grand father's in any case. Its the honest tax payers hard earned money sincerely paid to the ITO hoping to see a better India.
The poor Indian Farmer has been fed on doles,subsidies and loan waivers for the past 60 years.To-day 60,000 crores are being spent on loan waivers for poor and marginal farmers hoping to win their vote bank.
The Indian Farmer wants a dignified self respecting income from his land,not mere doles and waivers. He needs minimum support prices for his staple crops.He wants needed fertilisers at reasonable prices at the needed hour. He needs protection from black marketing merchants of Fertilisers and pesticides. He needs good seeds at cost price which the government can and must supply. he needs good schools for his children.Schools where teachers are present the whole day and teach sincerely. He needs Primary Health Centres where the Staff work without asking for tips (bribes). He expects to be treated like a human being by the Government.
Then and only then we will have the satisfaction that we are a Sovereign Demovratic Republic.
To-day we are a money and muscle dominated Polity where might is right.No one ever knows what Democracy is and what is meant by Republic.We are still slaves under monied Politicians and local Gundas who are patronised by the nasty Politician.
